COMMUNITY SURVEY

New Commercial Hotel

Application for a Commercial Hotel with extended trading hours

As part of a Commercial Hotel application being submitted to the Office of Liquor and Gaming (OLGR) at Emerson House, 10 Welch Street, Southport, RSA Liquor Professionals have been engaged to prepare a Community Impact Statement on behalf of the applicant to accompany the application.

The premises will include Dining and Bar facilities with seating for approximately 300 – 400 persons, with proposed trading hours to include 10 am to 2 am. The DA (PDA/2024/11) approved plans can be viewed here. No Gaming is proposed.

The purpose of the Community Impact Statement is to assess the likely social and economic impacts of the application on the local community to assist the commissioner in deciding whether the application should be granted.

Community consultation plays an important role in assessing the possible impacts that the application may have on the local community, so we are inviting you to complete a short online survey regarding the possible impacts that the application may have should it be granted.

All findings from this survey will be published in the final Community Impact Statement document submitted to OLGR and will not be used for any purpose other than the completion of the document outlined above.Ā
